Admission Process

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your children at The International School of Choueifat – Amman (ISC-Amman). Our school is an excellent choice for parents who are looking to offer their children a top-quality, international education within a vibrant and nurturing environment that encourages children to achieve their full potential and follow their dreams.

At our school, we welcome students who exhibit a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment and who are eager to participate in a global community. Our curriculum is designed to give students a solid foundation of knowledge and skills, a love of lifelong learning, and the ability to adapt to and lead change, so they graduate with confidence and an edge that allows them to succeed in their future.

If you have not already done so, we strongly recommend that you book an appointment to visit the school, meet with our staff, and see our school in action. This step is an important part of the admission process, which also includes an application and diagnostic test to assess the appropriate grade levels and classes for the applying students.

Should you have questions or require additional information, please contact our admissions office.

Testing

Provided that application and initial payment is made already, students applying for admission into the school will sit for an evaluation by one of our professional staff members.  Grades one and above will sit for a diagnostic test as part of the admission process. Once the diagnostic tests are completed, the school will evaluate the results and a final decision is made by the school administration and parents will be informed accordingly.

Appointments for diagnostic testing are arranged by the school’s admission officer once the registration process is completed by the parents (application and required payment submitted).

For further details, parents can send an enquiry email to the school’s admission office at admissions@iscamman.sabis.net.

Admission Decision

Admission decisions are made after careful evaluation of the candidates. Results of diagnostic testing and previous school records are considered on a case-by-case basis. Additional criteria for admission include motivation, social and emotional development, willingness to work hard, and the ability of ISC-Amman to accommodate the needs of the candidate.

Please note that, in order to complete the registration, the above requested documents should be presented upon initiation of the admission process in support of the application. A final admission decision cannot be made without this information.

Once accepted and the required fees paid, a place for the student is reserved.
